Apparently, I was very confused about Volume 1 of The Adventures of Sprinkles the Psychotic Moose. I had always thought that I was missing one comic...and I could remember having drawn it very vividly in my mind. I remembered who was in it, what happened, the whole shebang...but I could never find it. Eventually, it got to the point where I no longer knew for sure if I had ever drawn the thing...

Cut to 2009. I'm at my parents house sifting through all my boyhood crapola...looking for something very specific and not finding it. I grab a clear plastic box and open the top, and there staring at me is the missing issue of Sprinkles. But it's not #12, it's #13. Amazing! Now I have 2 missing comics! I quickly grab it and start rifling thru and sure enough, it's the exact comic I remembered drawing. But something was still bothering me...where was issue #12 and also...

I thought I remembered that it was issue 10 or 11 that had been missing, not 12 or 13. So I went to the old site, and sure enough...it was #10 I had claimed was missing...huh?

So I snagged the box and started going through it. I soon come upon issue 12. I dig some more and come upon issue 10. And now, finally, I can see the whole story after something like 12 years.

And what's even stranger is, I have had an unfinished comic sitting around that helped the haunting continue all those years. It seemed to continue where I thought I had left off with #13. So sure enough, not only are there 13 old AOSTPM comics, but an actual 14th I never finished.

Phew, that was confusing. No wonder whenever I would think about this, I would get this nagging itch inside that was telling me something wasn't right. My brain can finally rest after all these years.

This kind of disorganization does not help me focus on writing new material, in fact, it's quite the mental hindrance. In order to focus on Issue #2 I have to collect all this information in one spot, so I can sift through it and really take stock of all my ideas. You'd think that would be fun, but you'd be wrong.

Although, one fun part of it is finding interesting images like this:

After I made those videos, I went out and bought a halfway decent video camera that I never used. Looking at the quality of these videos (done using the video-capture feature of my first digital still camera) makes me want to go dig it out and film something ridiculous. But WHAT?!?
